Stevie Nicks began her music career singing alongside Lindsey Buckingham. The two were romantic for some time, and even recorded some music together as a duo. Eventually, the two joined the band Fleetwood Mac in the early 1970s, and gained international success. Once the 80s rolled around, Stevie pursued a solo career. Even with great success as a solo artist, she remained a part of Fleetwood Mac. To see my list of favorite Fleetwood Mac remixes, click here.
Stevie racked up a number of Hot 100 singles, and came very close to reaching #1 many times. However, over on the Dance Club Songs chart, she actually attained a #1 hit single with “Planets Of The Universe.” The 2007 remixes of her single “Stand Back” also came very close to reaching the pinnacle, peaking at #2 on the dance chart.
