I became acquainted with the British musician Sonique back in the 90s when she had a handful of dance hits across America. Her ultimate success begain with the single “It Feels So Good.” This was the era when I had to stream dance radio stations across the globe from the iTunes application on my computer just to keep up with the latest dance hits. Sonique was one of those emerging dance artists.
It wasn’t until recently that I even realized that Sonique was part of the 90s dance group S’Express. And not only that, Sonique was a well-known DJ and a Remixer herself. She got a gig in the late 90s as a DJ-in-residence at Club Manumission in Ibiza. Go girl!
