Samsaya has always found a way to express her feelings and thoughts through songwriting and singing. She started singing and rapping at a really young age. She even joined a couple of local Norwegian hip-hop groups before venturing into acting. Then she finally stepped out on her own and recorded her own style of music connecting hip-hop and electronic pop beats.
I first heard of Samsaya in 2014 when she opened up for Lily Allen at a concert in Atlanta, Georgia. I had the pleasure of meeting her and her band after the show, and they were extremely gracious and down to earth.
