Ultra Naté is a super talented dance artist who writes, produces, sings, and mixes some of the best dance tracks across the globe. Her success is unparalleled, as I idolize her gift for remixing dance music without missing a beat. Since the early 90’s, she has racked up a number of chart-toppers on the US Billboard Dance Club Songs chart. One of the biggest singles of her career is the song “Free,” which climbed to #75 on the Hot 100, #1 on the dance chart, and cracked the Top 10 in numerous countries.
To date, Ultra has accumulated over 20 Top 10 hits on the Dance Club Songs chart. She has collaborated with a number of DJ’s and musicians, including the “ultra-talented” Quentin Harris. In 2017, Ultra and Quentin released a full-length dance album under the name Black Stereo Faith. These two legends are definitely a dynamic dance duo! In December 2016, Billboard magazine ranked Ultra as the 12th most successful dance artist of all-time!
A historical honorable mention is her amazing collaboration with Jocelyn Enriquez and Amber on the Studio 54 track “If You Could Read My Mind.” Calling themselves Stars On 54, these three divas gave me so much life on the dancefloor. Thank you, ladies, for recording a dance anthem track like no other. And thank you, Hex Hector, for remixing one of the best dance singles of all time.
