The Ting Tings are an English duo consisting of Katie White and Jules De Martino. Each of them contribute to vocals, guitars, bass, and drums. Katie additionally adds some talent with cowbells, while Jules adds some piano. Their unique sound was first heard on the airwaves in 2008, when their single, “Great DJ,” climbed to #3 on the US Billboard Dance Club Songs chart. Following the success of that track, they achieved more Top 5 singles on the dance chart, including two #1 hits, “Shut Up And Let Me Go” and “Hands.”
I had the privilege of seeing The Ting Tings perform on their Super Critical Tour in April of 2015. I had so much fun, and I remember how most of the songs sounded like dance mixes, so I was jumping and dancing almost the entire hour. I would definitely see them in concert again.
