The English band Rixton consists of four young guys who started writing music right out of high school. These guys were initally discovered through YouTube where they posting their own renditions of cover songs. With powerful vocals reminiscent of other successful boy bands such as Maroon 5 and Matchbox Twenty, Rixton was offered a record deal. The guys flew from Manchester to New York City to record their first EP and first full-length studio album. Some of the tracks on the album give writing credits to other artists in the industry, such as Rob Thomas, Ed Sheeran, and Mike Posner.
In 2014, their first single, “Me And My Broken Heart,” became an international success. To date, the guys have released four singles from their debut album, and are currently working on their follow up studio album. Each of their singles have been remixed by some really cool DJ’s. “Me And My Broken Heart” is remixed by Lovelife, Jimix Vendetta, Helix, JNATHYN, 2FatKids, Slayback, Bortharm, and Pnau. Their second single, “Wait On Me,” is remixed by Cahill, Liam Keegan, Calvo House, Sundai, Trayze, Charleys, Kue, Steve-N, G. Rec, and Stvrney Binson. Their third single, “Hotel Ceiling,” is remixed by Five Knives and Duven. Their fourth single, “We All Want The Same Thing,” is remixed by the amazing Moto Blanco.
