Pebbles made a name for herself in the late 80s and early 90s, singing catchy R&B pop hits. She worked with big names in the industry, including L.A. Reid and Babyface to produce three albums before ending her career in music. Luckily, she’s left us with some divine dancey pop perfection that still keeps us moving today.
While achieving numerous #1 hits on the US Billboard R&B Songs chart, she managed to reach #2 on the Hot 100 chart with the song “Mercedes Boy.” That same record was her biggest hit on the Dance Club Songs chart, also peaking at #2.
