David Burrill is undeniably a sweltering Latin Rico Suave from the 80s. His career has included modeling, acting, singing, songwriting, producing, and even adult films. With a face like that, you cannot help but be someone’s object of desire, most notably my own. I had the honor of meeting David at a local gay bar in Ohio when he performed some of his biggest dance songs. He even came out into the crowd and personally gave me a lap dance. I will never forget that day!
David joined the music scene in the late 80s, recording music in the freestyle dance and pop genre. He released a handful of albums, and even collaborated with another pretty boy from a freestyle band, named Chad Spikes. David and Chad collaborated to create the dance duo DV8 for one full-length album. Together, they have also written and produced music for another dance artist named Susie K.
After the new millennium, I could not find anything on David’s projects or whereabouts. However, with the power of the internet, I was able to find David on social media. Turns out he gave up singing after his last album, Sinner. It was well known that he was an avid car and motorcycle enthusiast, so it appears that he moved the next stage of his career in that direction.
